An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 occurred in South Korea on Monday.
According to Meteorological Administration of the country, the earthquake hit an hour later after a quake with a magnitude of 5.1 occurred eight kilometers south of the city of Gyeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, TASS reported.
Tremors were felt throughout the south-eastern part of the country. Data on the victims and destructions didn't arrive. As other news agencies reported, the recorded seismic activity for the Republic of Korea was unprecedented.
Most of inhabitants of Gyeongsang left houses in connection with risk of a building collapse.
