YEREVAN. – At the invitation of Aleksandre Jejelava, ‎ Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, a delegation from Armenia, led by Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan, is paying a visit to Georgia, from Monday to Wednesday.

During the trip several meetings are scheduled with those in charge of science and education, the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. In particular, the parties will discuss matters relating to the educational systems of both countries.

The agenda of the visit also includes issues with respect to the Armenian language schools in the densely Armenian-populated Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia.   

The parties will also confer on the arrangements that were made during the meeting of prime ministers of the two countries, and the mechanisms for the implementation of these arrangements.
