The abuse of monopolies in Armenia can be stopped in 1-2 weeks.
Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) MP Mikayel Melkumyan stated the aforementioned in the parliament on Tuesday.
In his words, this doesn’t require months of studying of the obvious issues. Nobody in power needs to be prompted who occupied which markets, suppressing others: everyone knows them by names. “We said our piece. Then the authorities asked for three weeks. Then they said it was a complex issue and they needed more time to think. What is difficult here? It is necessary to merely show to the public that where three entities had a go-ahead, now twenty three of them can easily work,” Melkumyan said.
