YEREVAN. – Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, who is on a working visit to New York City, on Monday met with Sebastian Kurz, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria.

Nalbandian and Kurz exchanged views on bilateral relations, and discussed the avenues for expanding cooperation and strengthening collaboration within the framework of international organizations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In the context of preparations for Austria’s chairmanship at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in 2017, Sebastian Kurz presented to Edward Nalbandian the priorities of the Austrian chairmanship and the steps to be undertaken for their implementation.

At the request of the Austrian FM, Nalbandian spoke about the efforts, by Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs, to push forward a pacific settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
