Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute hosts exhibition dedicated to republic’s independence  YEREVAN. - On occasion of the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute has organized a temporary exhibition entitled “From Genocide to Restoration of Independence.”

The exhibition features rare historical flags and coat of arms made during the years of the Armenian national liberation struggle of the 18th-20th centuries. Among the rare exhibits are flags and coat of arms made by Armenian orphans after the Genocide.

Most of the exhibits - compiled from a number of museums of Armenia and the Diaspora - have been displayed for the first time. Among the unique collection of the imaging of the Armenian coat of arms and flags are carpets, engravings, posters, silver items, stamps, greeting cards, books and albums, as well as different compositions with the image of the “Mother Armenia”.

The exhibition includes samples provided by the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, museum of the ARF (Armenian Revolutionary Federation) Bureau, “Ararat Eskijian” Museum, the Armenian Museum in Boston, the National Archive of Armenia, the Memorial Museum of Karen Jeppe, as well as the National Association for Armenian Studies and Research and the Armenian Diocese Museum in Romania.

The key partner of the exhibition is VivaCell-MTS.
