The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada has recognized elections to the Russian State Duma, Duma’s new structure and its resolutions as illegal. This decision was made because of the vote held in the Crimea. 264 MPs voted for the document on non-recognition of the legitimacy of the elections.

106 MP from Petro Poroshenko’s bloc, 74 MPs from the People's Front, 23 MPs from Samopomochi, 18 MPs from the Radical Party , 15 MPs from Batkivshchyna, four deputies from the People's Will, one from Vozrozhdeniya, and 23 independent deputies voted for the document. No MPs from the Opposition Bloc voted in favor of the document , reports the UNIAN.
