YEREVAN. – Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian, who is on a working visit in New York City, on Tuesday met with Edgars Rinkēvičs, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Latvia.

They discussed the organization of high-level mutual visits, and attached importance to the expansion of the legal framework and the intensification of parliamentary ties, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The agenda of the talk included the enhancement of economic cooperation as well as the preparations for the upcoming meeting of the intergovernmental commission.

Nalbandian and Rinkēvičs also conferred on the negotiation process regarding the new legal framework of Armenia-European Union (EU) relations.
