YEREVAN. – Acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian on Tuesday signed on behalf of Armenia, and at the United Nations (UN) Headquarters in New York, the agreement (Paris Agreement) that was adopted as a result of the Climate Change Conference which was held last year in Paris, under the aegis of the UN.

The Paris Agreement outlines a series of steps by the international community to confront global warming.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan had attended the opening ceremony of and delivered remarks at the Paris Conference.
