YEREVAN. - The arrest of Sasna Tsrer group member Pavel Manukyan has been extended for two months.
The Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan’s Kanaker-Zeytun administrative districts made the following decision on Thursday, satisfying the investigator’s motion.
Pavel Manukyan was brought to the court by Ambulance. He got nervous during the hearing and in the middle of the hearing asked to take him out of the courtroom and move to the Prisoners’ Hospital.
Pavlik Manukyan and his son Aram were wounded in their legs during a shootout in the captured police station on July 27. They face charges under Article 218.3 (Occupation of buildings, facilities) and 235.3 (Illegal procurement, transportation or carrying of weapons, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices.) of the Armenian Criminal Code.
