Israel is following developments over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Rafael Harpaz, director of the Eurasian Department in the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Israel’s former ambassador to Azerbaijan, stated the aforesaid, according to APA news agency of Azerbaijan.

In his words, Israel really hopes and believes that peace is the only solution to this conflict.

“This is based on our experience in our region. We hope that the international efforts headed by the OSCE Minsk Group will succeed, and we support these efforts,” said Harpaz. “We also have good relations with Armenia. If there will be peace, we believe that the economic potential of the region will strengthen.”
