The French actor Gerard Depardieu has criticized France for being populated with " imbeciles making wine and stinky cheese," reports Sky News. According to the actor his country is in danger to turn into an entertainment park, which consists of stereotypes for attracting tourists. Depardieu said that France would be "a Disneyland for foreigners.”

Asked whether he considers himself a Frenchman, the actor said. "No, I am a citizen of the world. France is likely to become a Disneyland for foreigners, populated by imbeciles making wine and stinky cheese for tourists." Depardieu said that there is no freedom, and the people are manipulated.

Apart from that, the actor thinks that that Italy has not lost its culture and identity, as a young country, " born with Garibaldi," unlike Europe, half of which “with the fear of migrants has become a little fascist.”
