There might be a huge salty ocean beneath the surface of Pluto,  the level of salinity of which can  be equal to the amount of salt in the Dead Sea. The study was conducted by scientists at Brown University, reports the Oane.

American scientists studied the surface of Pluto and came to the conclusion that there could be an ocean beneath the ice cover of the planet. Thus, after the scientists had modeled the dynamics of the space collision with the planetoid, they came to the conclusion, that the number of ppm of the ocean can be equal to the salinity of the Red Sea. The depth of the ocean on Pluto could reach 100 kilometers. The scientists used the method of gravitational anomalies in their research, by means of which they could reveal the underwater object.
