YEREVAN. - The new Health Minister of Armenia Levon Altunyan first plans to get acquainted with the Ministry staff.

He told the aforementioned to Armenian News – NEWS.am, responding to the question what will his first step be as a Minister.

''I first of all want to get acquainted with the staff, feel the atmosphere and assess the capacities of the workers,'' he said.

The Minister also stressed that he will be able to share with his plans in greater detail only in a month. As to the first results, it will be able to sum them up in 100 days, he added.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday issued a decree, pursuant to which Levon Altunyan has been appointed Minister of Health of Armenia. Prior to this appointment, he was the executive Director of Ingo Armenia insurance company. Levon Altunyan is an anesthesiologist by profession.
