YEREVAN. - The Japanese Ambassador to Armenia Eiji Taguchi on Tuesday congratulated the 25th anniversary of Armenia's independence in Armenian.
The Ambassador welcomed in Armenian all those invited to the performance of the Hōshō school, which represents the traditional Japanese “Noh” theater. The Armenian audience enjoyed the performances on September 26 at Puppet Theater after Tumanyan and on September 27 in Komitas Museum-Institute
The diplomat stressed that he is happy and proud of the first tour of the traditional Japanese “Noh” theater in Armenia. ''This is our gift to the Armenian people on occasion of the 25th anniversary of their independence,'' the Ambassador noted, adding in Armenian: ''I congratulate the Republic of Armenia on its 25th anniversary.''
