The world's first private orbital launch complex has opened in New Zealand, reported Rocket Lab corporation, who owns the project.

The complex is capable of conducting a launch as frequently as every 72 hours during thirty years.

The construction of the complex kicked off in December. Among other things, the road infrastructure and internet were also planned to be improved, Interfax reports.

According to Rocket Lab, ''Completing Launch Complex 1 is a significant milestone in the build-up to the first test flight of the Electron vehicle.''

The experts say the initiative can benefit the country's economy in the amount between $600 mln and $1.55 bln during the coming 20 years.
