YEREVAN. - The control over architectural monuments will not be transferred to the authority dealing with urban development.

Justice Ministry of Armenia, Aprine Hovhannisyan, said the aforementioned on Wednesday, speaking at the discussion of the draft Law on the Republic of Armenia Government Structure.

As to the current Urban Development Ministry, the Government has not changed its decision on it: pursuant to the bill, the Ministry should be dissolved. Specific proposals on the tourism and other sectors - for which it is proposed to set up special committees adjunct to the Government - will be presented later.
