Philippine’s President Rodrigo Duterte said that the upcoming joint military training with the United States will become the last one, reports the Reuters. According to him he will send a notice to the US that these military trainings will be the last ones. Duterte also said that there are no chances of making a joint patrol with the US in the South China Sea, noting that the perception about a conflict between Philippines and China is "imaginary". At the same time, he noted that the Philippines will be devoted to their commitments concerning the mutual defense with the United States within the framework of their agreement.
