Russian President's spokesman Dmitry Peskov called “clumsy” the statement of U.S. State Department about threat of terrorist attacks in Russia because of actions of the Russian authorities in Syria, RIA Novosti reported.

Peskov also expressed regret in connection with not constructive character of rhetoric of the American leaders and noted Moscow's interest in cooperation with Washington, expressing  hope that the U.S. will fulfill the  obligations.
