The Orthodox priest has caused panic among passengers of the electric train traveling from Villeneuve-Saint-Georges to Paris. As Le Parisien reports, the traffic got paralyzed in that part of the railway. The incident took place on September 26. Passengers were frightened by the appearance of the Church representative with a long beard and black clothes. The passengers confusing the cleric with an extremist informed about him to the police. The authorities reacted promptly. Vilnev -Sen -Zhorzh stations and all stations between Lyon were evacuated. The police arrived and found out that the alarm was false. Traffic was stopped for half an hour.
