The Russian MFA recommended its compatriots abroad to be careful on Friday, considering the calls of a number of organizations to stage protests against the activation of battles in Syria’s Aleppo.

It is recommended that “Russian citizens take reasonable precautionary measures and refrain from visiting the places where the “rage and protest” can be aimed against their dignity and security,” Lenta reports.

According to the statement issued by the MFA, Moscow paid attention to the fact that a number of organizations, including Islamic ones, are going to stage a protest on September 30 on occasion of the International Day of Rage and Protest. “It is not ruled out that such an event may be used by extremist elements in some countries to attack Russia and make provocations against its citizens,” the statement reads.
