A 24-year-old man was electrocuted to death in Hovtashat village of Armenia’s Ararat province on Thursday.
The village administration informed Armenian News – NEWS.am that the young man, Gevorg Hovhannisyan, had no regular job and thus earned his living doing odd jobs. On the day of the tragedy, he was helping to repair an electric water pump upon the request of his acquaintance.
According to the preliminary information, the reason behind the tragedy was mishandling the electrical equipment. Expert examinations have been commissioned.
The young man had two small children.
