YEREVAN. – Joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, Council of Defense Ministers, and Committee of the Secretaries of the Security Councils of the Member States of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) was convened Friday in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan (PHOTOS).
In addition, the FM, the defense minister, and the National Security Council secretary of Armenia received the heads of delegations from the CSTO member countries.
Also, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian delivered opening remarks at the joint meeting.
A total of 31 documents were signed as a result of this session of the CSTO regulatory bodies.
Furthermore, the CSTO chairmanship passed from Armenia to Belarus.
The Collective Security Treaty Organization comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
