YEREVAN. – The overall Russian investments in Armenia have reached virtually $4.5 billion, at the end of the first half of 2016.
Transportation Minister of Russia Maksim Sokolov, who is also Russian co-chair of the Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation, stated the aforementioned at opening of the fifth Armenian-Russian Interregional Forum, and the first International Forum of Eurasian Partnership, which is held Friday in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.
In his words, a total of 1,250 enterprises, or subsidiaries with Russian capital, operate in Armenia, at present.
Sokolov added that Eurasian integration, in turn, offers Armenian companies new opportunities for cooperation.
