YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia, and CITY College, which is the International Faculty of the University of Sheffield, on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding.

As a result, the official start was given to the University of Sheffield Executive MBA program to be taught in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.

Minister Levon Mkrtchyan welcomed the entry of the University of Sheffield to Armenia.

CITY College Principal Yannis Ververidis, for his part, expressed the hope that the entry of the University of Sheffield to Armenia will contribute to the development of business education in the country. He stressed that their students in Yerevan will receive education that meets European standards.

In their remarks at the event, British Ambassador Judith Margaret Farnworth, and Greek Ambassador Nafsika Nancy Eva Vraila also welcomed the entry of the University of Sheffield to Armenia.
