YEREVAN. – The National Assembly (NA) of Armenia on Monday started its special session.

By and large, the MPs will debate on the amendments to the Electoral Code, whereby it is proposed that voting at the election precincts of the country be recorded on video and broadcast livestream.

It is also proposed that the lists of those that have voted be made public.

As per the political opposition, these procedures will prevent the authorities from using the votes of the Armenians citizens that are either deceased or outside the country.
