Russia will respond to the US threats of new sanctions, but that respond will not be symmetrical, said the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, reports the RIA Novosti.

"There is only one explanation to non-stop threats from Washington: they prove weakness of the US administration and inability to make agreements on realistic bases,” told Ryabkov to reporters.

According to him in the United States no one seeks to adopt any schemes that can be viable, though contradict the promises the administration. "We are calling on Washington to accept the situation as it is and not to soothe any illusions about achieving their goals by shouting or showing tricks," said Ryabkov.
