YEREVAN. - Representatives of the Armenian Ombudsman, including a doctor, on Monday visited the Founding Parliament radical opposition group member Karo Yeghnukyan, who is in Yerevan-Kentron criminal-executive institution.  

As reported by Spokesman for the Ombudsman, Zohrab Yeganyan, the Ombudsman's staff workers talked to Yeghnukyan and recorded the issues raised by him.

Yeghnukyan has been on hunger strike since October 7. Being placed in a separate cell, he is ensured with water, including with distilled and mineral water sent by parcels.

The activist briefed the Ombudsman’s representatives on the issues related to the prosecution against him, his arrest and ban to meet with his relatives.
