The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Nikolay Bordyuzha confirmed that the rotation within the organization will take place. This issue wasn't discussed at the CSTO summit in Yerevan, since one of the presidents wasn't present.

''The change will take place, since the presidents have adopted a decision on introducing the rotation system for Secretary General and all officials. As to the rotation of officials, that is deputies and department heads, we have been carrying that out long ago, and very successfully,'' he said in an interview with Russia 24.

In Bordyuzha's words, the consideration of this issue was postponed due to the illness of Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

''Considering that this issue should be decided together with all the presidents, we decided that the heads of states will meet in December and then, once all the members of the Collective Security Council are present, the final decision will be adopted,'' he concluded.
