German Chancellor Angela Merkel considers that new sanctions against Russia, due to Russia’s actions in Syria, are possible, reports the AP.   Merkel said that the French and Russian presidents will discuss the situation in Syria during the Normandy Four meeting in Berlin. However, she urged not to wait for a "miracle." According to her, considering the whole situation, sanctions cannot be ruled out, but the priority is to be given to reduce suffering of people.
