YEREVAN. - The new Armenian Government program implies criminal penalty for illicit enrichment of state officials.   

Armenian Minister of Justice Arpine Hovhannisyan told the aforementioned to journalists after the extraordinary Cabinet session, during which the new Government program was adopted.

According to her, one of the most important issues for the new Government is the struggle against corruption. To enhance it, the criminalization of illicit enrichment will be applied. Apart from this, the scope of persons related to officials has been expanded and the institute of the conflict of interests has been introduced, Hovhannisyan added.
