Russia hopes the United States and other interested parties will have an impact on the militants’ leaders of Aleppo and ensure their evacuation from Aleppo, said the head of the Operative Department of the Russian armed forces’ General Headquarters Sergei Rudskoy, reports the RIA Novosti.

"We hope that the United States and other interested parties will impact on the leaders of the armed groups and ensure the evacuation of the wounded and sick, as well as remove civilians and fighters from the city,” he said.

According to him, the Russian and Syrian air forces do not approach Aleppo closer than 10 km. "Yesterday morning at 10a.m. the Russian and Syrian air strikes in Aleppo have completely stopped. The Russian and Syrian planes do not approach the city closer than 10 km, "said Rudskoye.
