Ecuador's government has confessed about limiting Julian Assange’s access to Internet, who lived in London in its embassy, explaining that the leak of information from the American politicians’ e-mails might affect the US upcoming elections.

In the meanwhile, the WikiLeaks has announced that Ecuador blocked Assange’s internet, after the website had posted negotiations between Hillary Clinton and important players of the Wall Street, seized by hackers.

Ecuador announced that WikiLeaks carries a full responsibility for publication of the leaked data. " Ecuador has temporarily restricted access to part of its communications systems in its UK Embassy," the statement said. The statement also emphasized that Ecuador's government respect the principle of non-interference to other countries’ internal affairs and does not interfere with the US electoral processes.

Cutting Assange’s internet has become the reason of a number of speculations. According to some of them, Quito yielded to pressure from Washington, which Ecuador denies. The US State Department announced that it had nothing to do with disconnecting Assange, though it had been long concerned about WikiLeaks’ operations.
