YEREVAN. – We need to begin the reforms from the government itself.
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Karen Karapetyan, on Thursday stated the aforesaid in the National Assembly, as he introduced the new government program.
In his address, Karapetyan noted, in particular, that this government program is a “complex” of measures with specified deadlines.
The PM also pointed to the need for a “balanced distribution of power.”
As per the Premier, the public administration agencies of Armenia shall not secure employment for workers, but rather provide services to people.
Karen Karapetyan added that the objective of reforms in state- and foreign-funded procurements is the creation of a simple, fair, and transparent procurement system in the country.
