The new Customs Code of the Eurasian Economic Union will be adopted on October 28 at the session of the Intergovernmental Council, reports the TASS, referring to the deputy of the head of the Federal Tax Service of Russia Ruslan Davidov.

"A lot of work is underway to ensure that the new Customs Code of the EEC will come into force on 1 January 2017. The session of the Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union will be held on October 28. We expect that the final decision would be made at the session, and next year the EEU Customs Code will enter into force, "said Davidov. The Code envisages to automate the issue of declarations, establish the principle of a "single window", and modernize the institute of authorized economic operators.
