The U.S. is committed to peaceful solution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the U.S. co-chair of the OSCE MG James Warlick stated at a press conference in Baku on Saturday.

Commenting on the recent statement of the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry about unwillingness of Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders to solve Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Warlick noted that Kerry demonstrated his commitment to work with parties on solution of the conflict, Trend reported.

“It is important that all the parties need to be committed to work further on peaceful solution. I know that Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev is committed to work on negotiations and on the proposals on the table, and to have further discussions with President Sargsyan. We want to follow up on the commitments made in Vienna and Saint Petersburg. There are still issues and elements that need to be discussed. We will work further and discuss this during the next presidents’ summit,” Warlick said.

According to him, the OSCE Minsk Group will continue to work for the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
