An explosion occurred in one of the buildings of in Shanxi province, China on Monday, there were several injured, Weibo reported.

As locals reported, detonation of explosives which were illegally stored in the cellar of the building  was the reason of the explosion.

According to the photos published by 163.com website, nearby street was covered with numerous debris of the damaged cars and nearby homes. The site was covered with a dense smoke.

It was reported that the building where the blast occurred was completely destroyed. The exact number of victims is still unknown.
