The shooting in India's state Odisha killed 18 naxalites and injured 2 policemen, reports the Xinhua. The shooting began early in the morning of October 24, 650 km south-west from the province’s administrative center Bhubaneswar. "Today Andhra Pradesh and Odisha police joint forces demolished at least 18 naxalites," says the police report. The injured police officers are taken to hospital.
