YEREVAN. - Prince and Grand Master of the Sovereign Order of Malta Fra' Robert Matthew Festing on Monday visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex (photos).

The Prince was accompanied by Armenian Deputy FM Garen Nazarian, Armenian Ambassador to Vatican Mikayel Minasyan, Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan and Deputy Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Suren Manukyan.

Fra' Robert Matthew Festing laid a wreath and flowers at the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex and by the Eternal Flame in memory of the innocent victims of the first Genocide of the 20th century.

He also planted a tree in the traditional square of the Memorial Complex.

Finally, the Prince visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and left a note in the memory book of the museum.
