The attack of the Taliban movement, aimed to seize Fayzabad District situated in the eastern part of Jowzjan Province of Afghanistan, has been prevented; 32 militants are killed, reports the Xinhua, referring to the local governmental spokesman Reza Ghafoori.  "Large-scale attacks prevented Taliban to seize Fayzabad District, the rebels have suffered huge losses, leaving 32 deads," said Ghafoori . "More than 60 militants have been injured because of two days’ heavy fights," he added. According him, the police chief of the neighboring Manjigak district was also killed during the operations.
