The founder of the find-a-roommate website SpareRoom.com is searching for two roommates to share his West Village three-floor loft for six months for just one dollar a month, WKBW reported.
According to the SpareRoom.com founder Rupert Hunt, he is looking for people he can get along with, and he's hoping they can help each other in some way as well.
Hunt also stated that he’d also prefer at least one roommate to know New York City well, and the other to be new to the area.
New York is traditionally among the cities with the highest rental rates. According to some data, the average rental cost of an apartment / house designed for two people makes 188$ per night (as at 25 October, 2016). Single room costs 90$, common room for two people costs 81$ per night.
