The costs of developing new software and IT services are growing, when the investments of large global enterprises in intangible assets rapidly decrease, reports the Reuters, referring to the study of the PwC Consulting Company.
As the PwC states, the main reason of changes in cost is the need of remaining competitive in the market. Thus, in 2018 the amount allocated for creating a global healthcare computer network, obtaining electronic technologies, conducting research to develop in the IT sphere will make $ 165 billion, compared to $ 159 billion for the current year.
In the production sphere the number of engineer-mechanics in 2020, for example, will be reduced by one third, up to 13%, and the number of IT specialists will double and reach 16% of the total number of employees. PwC forecasts that IT development costs for auto companies will make $ 129 billion in 2020.
