YEREVAN. - Beeline subscribers in Armenia will be able to enter VKontakte (VK) faster, General Director of Beeline Armenia, Andrey Pyatakhin, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.
In his words, the company is currently providing server space for mirroring VK. “This is important to us, since the VK traffic is one of the largest ones in our network,” he noted.
According to preliminary data, Facebook and Odnoklassniki are among the most frequently visited websites in Beeline network. They are followed by Vkontakte. “But this depends on the time of visits. They are generally very close. I don’t possess the latest data, but according to the ones available, Facebook is actually No. 1. This is what we can see,” Pyatakhin noted.
The company already provides mirror space for Google and Youtube. Consequently, the inquiries on these resources are included not in international, but local servers, due to which the websites open faster.
“We will try to bring to our servers as many resources as possible. Of course, we will keep an eye on our market partners. If a ‘mirror’ has already been installed on something, there is less need to install another one,” Pyatakhin said.
