STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces around 60 times, from late Thursday night to early Friday morning.

During this time the Azerbaijani armed forces fired more than 700 shots toward the Armenian position-holders, and by way of various caliber weapons, the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Defense Army informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In addition, the adversary fired 141 shots from large-caliber machine guns, in southerly and northerly directions of the line of contact.

But the NKR Defense Army vanguard units continued confidently carrying out the military task set before them, and they took actions in response when absolutely necessary.
