The narrow-format meeting of the Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Heads of Governments got underway Friday in Minsk, the capital city of Belarus.
In his opening remarks at the event, Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov noted that the discussants will confer on the first documents which were prepared with the results of the CIS leaders’ recent meeting in Bishkek, the capital city of Kyrgyzstan.
The PMs of Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan as well as Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Moldova, and CIS Executive Committee Chairman Sergei Lebedev are attending this narrow-format session.
Ukraine, however, is not represented in this meeting.
