YEREVAN. - Armenia will receive 41 rescue vehicles for an amount of $15 mln from Japan.  

Minister of Emergency Situations, Armen Yeritsyan, told the aforementioned on Monday, speaking at the parliamentary hearings on draft 2017 State Budget.

The vehicles received with the support of Japan will be handed to the Rescue Service departments in the country’s Shirak, Lori and Syunik provinces.

“Or else old trucks, which have a capacity of only 2 tons of water, are used in regions. And until it is delivered, sometimes it is already late,” the Minister noted.
