10:45, 28.10.2010 Region: World News, Russia Theme: Society

On October 27, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin arrived on a visit to Ukraine. He held meetings with his Ukrainian counterpart Mykola Azarov and signed several agreements on the aviation and shipping industry.

However, Ukrainian journalists addressed RF Premier’s appearance instead of gas issues. The Russian prime minister was in a bad mood. The reporters noticed “something like a big bruise on his left cheekbone. According to them, it was a very noticeable swelling. Moreover, the journalists have noticed “poorly disguised make-up,” the Prime Minister had never used before.

Mr. Putin, who is always talkative with a good sense of humor, was sad and silent. He refused to comment on painful gas issue, canceled the dinner, planned for him and his Ukrainian counterpart and left for the airport

Ukrainian journalists asked their Russian counterparts, whether all is well with Putin’s health. However, they assured that there is nothing suspicious to Premier’s mood and appearance, and they do not see the bruises.
