Armenian-Turkish talks ended by signing of the protocols. There is no “silent diplomacy”, “Zurich second stage” or any new negotiations, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said during the meeting with journalists and experts in New Delhi.

He noted that certain Turkish politicians and media outlets are speaking of talks, but it is unclear who is addressee of this “silent diplomacy”.  “Thoughts of philosophers or kings were attributed to themselves but diplomats should share their thoughts with other diplomats to find solutions. The only step to be made is to ratify the Armenian-Turkish protocols and implement them without protraction. Armenia will be ready to move forward if Turkey is ready to move forward without preconditions,” he said.

Turkish President Abdullah Gul has repeatedly stated that there is a “silent diplomacy” between Armenia and Turkey.

On November 12, Armenian Foreign Minister will leave for Kolkata to meet with West Bengal governor and representatives of local Armenian community.
