State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) continues to work on the privatization of the Georgian part of the Russia-Armenia gas pipeline, stated the President of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev, on January 14.
He said that Azerbaijan is going to use this pipeline to export its gas to the shores of Black Sea.
The Georgian side has already excluded the pipeline from the list of strategic projects in Georgia, noted APA.
This information frequently leaked to media during the past year, but the Georgian side has alternately denied it or indirectly confirmed.
