As far back as last August, at his meeting with participants in BarCampArtsakh 2010, Speaker of the Parliament of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ashot Ghulyan promised the NKR Parliament would have its website the next month. However, the NKR Parliament has not created its website since. The website was to serve as a platform for discussing bills and sharing views.

Mikael Ajiyan, Head of the Information Service, NKR Parliament, informed NEWS.am of technical reasons for the delay in creation of the NKR Parliament’s website.

“We have not set any specific terms, but the website may be created this February,” he said. On the other hand, he said Nagorno-Karabakh has more serious problems to deal with.
