The more Armenia is ready for war the less likelihood of hostilities is, ruling party MP says.

Talking to the journalists on Wednesday, Gagik Minasyan, MP from Republican Party of Armenia, commented on frequent ceasefire violations by the Armenian side.

He noted Armenia should use both internal and foreign resources to turn ceasefire regime into final peace.

The latest agreements with strategic allies within CSTO enable Armenia to consider perspective of peace preservation more confidently, he stressed.

The MP deems Armenia should not convince itself hostilities are impossible to break out. Possibility of war always exists. “Azerbaijan’s provocations should get an adequate response for Baku to think twice while doing it next time. They do not understand other language,” Minasyan said.

On the other hand, Azerbaijan’s provocations are aimed at showing world community the conflict is not frozen and needs swift resolution.

The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) is a ruling conservative party in Armenia founded in 1990 after country’s independence. Incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan is the chairman of RPA board.
